HYBRIDknife® flex I-Type takes 3rd space endoscopy to the next level

Uniting cutting-edge technology and high flexibility, our new HYBRIDknife^® flex takes 3rd space endoscopic interventions to the next level. As a unique feature among endoscopic knives, the integrated high-pressure injection allows for needle-free and tissue-selective elevation of the submucosal space. Inject, cut and coagulate on demand – no need for instrument exchange. Physicians benefit from a simple and convenient workflow and can tailor their individual technique.

The new electrode of the HYBRIDknife^® flex is thin and short, facilitating high electrosurgical precision with minimal thermal damage. This makes dissection possible even in delicate tissue, such as the thin-walled right colon. In combination with VIO^®3 electrosurgical modes, e.g., preciseSECT^®, a variety of techniques can be applied for coagulation and hemostasis. 

With enhanced flexibility, the new HYBRIDknife^® flex allows for smooth insertion in strong angulation and retroflexion. And what’s even more convenient: the new locking mechanism keeps the electrode in place without manual correction.
Initial experience from the user acceptance test provides proof: among all participants, 97% were satisfied with the instruments performance and 95% considered it likely to exchange their current equipment.
